Refund Policy

If SPARK Cancels

If SPARK cancels the tournament, or cancels the division your team registered for, your team receives a full refund of everything it paid.

If Your Team Withdraws

Every tournament has a roster lock date, set two weeks before the event begins. If your team withdraws before the roster lock date, we refund what you paid minus payment processing fees, which are not ours to refund.

After the Roster Lock Date

Once the roster lock date has passed, registrations are final. We do not issue refunds after that date for any reason, including a team that does not show up to the event.

Waitlisted Teams

A team on the waitlist is never charged, so there is nothing to refund. When a spot opens, it is held for the next team in line, which has 24 hours to pay for it. Once a team pays, the same withdrawal and roster lock rules above apply.

Promo Discounts

A promo code or other discount reduces your team's registration fee at checkout. It is never paid out in cash or credited back separately, and it cannot be applied after the fact to a registration that already went through at full price.

How Refunds Are Issued

Approved refunds go back to the original payment method. Please allow up to 10 business days for the refund to appear on a card or bank statement.

To request a refund, email info@sparkmidwest.org with your team name and team ID.
